TNI Bureau: Thousands of BJP supporters from Buguda, led by Buguda Block Chairperson K. Priyadarshini Achari, rejoined the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) at Naveen Niwas in the presence of former Chief Minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik.

Achari, who was previously with the BJD and had joined the BJP a few months ago, returned to the regional party along with thousands of her supporters. The induction programme was attended by BJD Senior Vice-President (HQ) Debi Prasad Mishra, former minister Srikant Sahu and BJD General Secretary Ranjita Sahu.

The induction is being seen as a significant boost for the BJD in the Buguda region ahead of future political activities in the state.
