TNI Bureau: President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated several key welfare and infrastructure projects in Rairangpur, her hometown in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district, during her two-day visit to the state.
The President was accorded a grand welcome on her arrival in Rairangpur. She began her visit by inaugurating the first free health camp organised in collaboration with AIIMS Bhubaneswar and interacted with healthcare personnel.
She later inaugurated a number of important public welfare projects, including the Mega Piped Water Supply Project for Kusumi block, a new building of the Brahma Kumaris organisation, a Special Circuit House and the office of the Superintendent of Police for the newly created Rairangpur Police District.
Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, senior ministers, top government officials and public representatives attended the programme.
