TNI Bureau: Former IAS officer Pradeep Jena has welcomed the reported decision of the Chief Secretary to order a social audit of Tikhiri Gram Panchayat in Kendrapara district. In a post on his X account, he described the move as a welcome step but raised questions about the scope of the proposed audit.

Pradeep questioned whether the social audit would be confined to Tikhiri Gram Panchayat or extended to all Gram Panchayats under Mahakalapada block. Jena also sought clarity on whether the audit would be conducted selectively or across the entire block.
