Odisha Govt Cracks Down on School Textbook Printing Errors

TNI Bureau: Odisha government has constituted a three-member committee to investigate printing errors found in Class I to VIII school textbooks following directions from Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.

The committee, headed by Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary Deo Ranjan Kumar Singh, includes Odia Language, Literature and Culture Secretary Bijay Ketan Upadhyay and General Administration Department Deputy Secretary Smita Pani. It has been tasked with identifying the source of the errors and fixing responsibility on the officials or agencies concerned.

The panel has been asked to submit its report within seven days. The Chief Minister has also directed immediate correction of the errors and strict action against those found responsible.
