The air ambulance aircraft, which took off from Ranchi for Delhi, crashed shortly after departure in a remote area of Jharkhand. All seven people on board lost their lives. The victims included Sanjay Sahu, his wife, a relative, a doctor, a paramedic, and two pilots. Tragically, the flight crashed minutes after takeoff, turning a mission to save a life into a fatal accident.

Authorities have begun an investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash, with technical problems and weather conditions being examined.

At the centre of the tragedy was Sanjay Sahu, a small businessman who ran a modest roadside eatery. He had suffered severe burn injuries in a fire accident caused by an electrical short circuit at his workplace. With most of his body badly burned, doctors advised that he be shifted for advanced treatment.

Sahu’s family arranged an air ambulance by borrowing money and collecting contributions from relatives and well-wishers. The flight was meant to be a last hope for survival. Instead, the aircraft crashed minutes after takeoff, turning a rescue mission into a fatal accident.

The incident has shocked many people because of the painful irony involved. A man who survived a devastating fire lost his life while being flown for treatment. The tragedy has also raised questions about the safety and regulation of air ambulance services in the country.

Sanjay Sahu’s story reflects the struggles of ordinary families who go to extraordinary lengths to save their loved ones. What began as a desperate fight for life ended in an unimaginable loss, leaving behind grief and unanswered questions.
