Delhi suffer 5th Straight Loss, Bangalore Win

The match between Delhi Daredevils and Royal Challengers Bangalore produced wholesome entertainment to the viewers. After the match ended in a tie, it went to the Super Over in which RCB prevailed over the DareDevils. Delhi suffered its 5th straight loss in IPL 6.

Bangalore won the toss and elected to field first. Delhi posted 152/5 in 20 overs. Sehwag made 25, while Jayawardene scored 28. Kedar Jadhav remained unbeaten on 29. Jaidev Unadkat took two wickets.

Chasing a victory target of 153, Bangalore were  cruising towards victory when they were 129/2 in 16 overs. However, they lost quick wickets and finally managed to end the match in a tie by scoring 152/7 in 20 overs. Kohli made 65, while AB de Villiers scored 39. Umesh Yadav took two wickets.

In the Super Over, Bangalore scored 15/0. Delhi managed to 11/2 and lost the match by 4 runs. Virat Kohli was declared ‘Man of the Match’.
