The heinous crime in the civil society still continues despite strong anti-rape Bill. After Delhi, a 9-year-old girl was gangraped in Assam’s Silchar district. The villagers staged a massive protest before the local police station and demanded the immediate arrest of the culprits and punishment.

According to a report on Times Now, a leading News Channel, a nine year old was first abducted when she was on her way to the local market in a village and then gangraped by a group of men. The incident occurred on Sunday evening. The culprits left the spot after trying to kill her by slitting her throat. The girl was found unconscious and bleeding in the tea garden in Katigora village.

The victim was taken to a local hospital. She had serious injuries. She was bleeding due to slit throat when she was brought for the treatment.
