TNI Bureau: Former bureaucrat and BJD leader V.K. Pandian, through his counsel, appeared before the Khordha District and Sessions Court and sought dismissal of a case related to alleged helicopter travel and financial irregularities.
The case concerns allegations that Pandian used helicopters by spending government funds between 2019 to 2024. It has also been alleged that helicopters were extensively used during the previous BJD government’s tenure for visits across the state in the name of collecting public grievances, leading to claims of misuse of public money.
Pandian’s counsel presented his side before the court and requested that the case be dismissed. Further hearing in the matter is awaited.
