TNI Bureau: West Bengal under Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee cannot be considered as safe any more. That was evident today, as a cop was killed in firing between two groups of students during a college election in Kolkata.

The incident occurred at the Harimohan Ghosh College at Garden Reach area in Kolkata. Students from Congress-backed Chhatra Parishad (CP) and Trinamool Congress-backed Trinamool Chhatra Parishad (TMCP) clashed with sticks and rods, while crude bombs were hurled inside the campus too.
