TNI Bureau: In a bold push to transform Nation’s transport network, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Sunday announced seven high-speed rail corridors across key economic and cultural regions of India during the 2026 Union Budget.
The proposed high-speed rail corridors aim to enhance connectivity and infrastructure in India, reducing travel time, carbon emissions, and supporting balanced regional development.
This move will unlock faster movement, boost commerce, and deepen socioeconomic linkages between cities and regions.
