Sasmita Dash Qualifies as National Volleyball Referee

TNI Bureau: Promising Woman Volleyball player Sasmita Dash from Rourkela, Odisha has recently qualified to become a referee at national level. She had appeared in the national Volleyball referee selection test in April 2012 in Cuttack and succeeded.

Sasmita is the first women National Volleyball Referee from the state.

Sasmita had represented Odisha state earlier playing volleyball and is currently working as an Executive Body Member of the Chandra sekhar Sports Association.

Earlier she has executed therole of referee successfully in several Volleyball matches both in the state and other parts of the country. These days, she is also rendering coaching to a number of talented Volleyball players.

A lot of biggies as well as sports lovers including the Rajgangpur MLA and President of Panposh Sports Association, Grogori Minz, executive president Sushant Behera, treasurer Mahendra Mishra and advisors Alok Mishra and Satyanand Behera as well as Subash Dash and Debadatta Jena, the president and secretary of Chandrasekhar Sporting club respectively, have congratulated the sportswoman for her achievement.
