TNI Bureau: IndiaOne Air on Friday issued an official press statement confirming that one of its aircraft made a precautionary forced landing near Kansor, close to Rourkela in Odisha, following a technical issue during flight. The airline confirmed that all passengers and crew members are safe, and no injuries or loss of life have been reported.
According to the press release, the aircraft—VT-KSS, a Cessna Grand Caravan 208B EX, operated by IndiaOne Air Pvt. Ltd. as Flight I7102—departed Bhubaneswar for Rourkela at approximately 12:25 pm.
The flight crew reported a technical issue about 50 minutes into the journey and, adhering to established aviation safety procedures, declared a “Mayday” call. Acting decisively, the pilots carried out a controlled forced landing at around 1:20 pm in an open area near Kansor, roughly 15–20 kilometres short of Rourkela.
The aircraft was carrying two crew members and four passengers at the time of the incident. IndiaOne Air confirmed that all six occupants are safe, with no serious injuries reported.
In its statement, the airline said it is coordinating closely with aviation regulators and the Odisha government following the incident. Further technical inspection and assessment of the aircraft are expected to be carried out as per standard regulatory procedures.
IndiaOne Air expressed relief over the safe outcome of the incident and reiterated its commitment to passenger safety.
