Romney Concedes Defeat, Congratulates Obama

TNI Bureau: As it became clear that Barack Obama has been re-elected as the US President, his rival Mitt Romney addressed the public and conceded his defeat. Romney thanked all for their support, which made the battle very close and fierce.

Romney also thanked his wife and Paul Ryan for their support in the campaign. He congratulated Obama for getting a second term of four years. Obama got 303 out of 538 electoral votes, while Mitt Romney got 203 votes so far.

Romney also revealed that he had called up President Obama to congratulate him on his victory. While addressing the people, Romney assured full support to Obama and said, “The US at crossroads today. So, there is no place for infighting. All Congressmen must put people before politics. I pray for Barack Obama and this great nation”.
