Ranji Trophy: Odisha bowl out for 181

TNI Bureau: Despite Govind Poddar’s valiant knock of 82, Odisha bowled out for a paltry 181 in the first innings against Baroda in a crucial Ranji Trophy match in Vadodara. The home side took advantage of the conditions after winning the toss.

Odisha were 13/2 at one stage, as the openers departed in quick succession. Niranjan Behera (20) and Govind Poddar (82) added 70 runs for the third wicket. However, spinner Bhargav Bhatt triggered a big collapse, as he took six wickets on a pitch that assisted the pacers.

Saurabh Sehgal remained unbeaten on 37. Murtuja Vahora took three wickets. At sumps, Baroda were 34/1.
