Rajkot ODI: England win Toss, Elect to Bat

0

TNI Bureau: England won the toss and elected to bat first in the first ODI against India in Rajkot. Skipper MS Dhoni chose to play Ashok Dinda in place of Mohammad Shami. Joseph Root has made his debut for England.

If India win the ODI series 5-0, they would become the No. 1 team in ODIs. However, it won’t be easy for the team given the poor form of the batsmen and lack of experience of Indian bowlers.
