Seems Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi’s two-day visit to Odisha has left many in the Odisha Congress seeking for cover. It was not an ordinary visit. Rahul took strong objections to the infighting and power struggle in the Odisha Congress, which has jeopardized the chances of the party and made BJD too strong to dislodge from
power.

Rahul hinted at big changes in Odisha Congress in the next two to three months. And, that was enough to hit the panic button. Many leaders, who always bothered about self and did not try enough to revive the party, may get the boot.

Rahul has already made his groundwork and got the feedback from cadres and other leaders who do not enjoy more power and importance and can speak the truth if there is a need. Mr. Gandhi asked the leaders in Odisha to change their attitude and style of functioning and do their best to take the party to a position where they can give a tough fight to Naveen Patnaik and BJD.
