Puri Srimandir reopens after 9 Months

TNI Bureau: The long wait is over. The Srimandir – Abode of Lord Jagannath, reopened after a gap of 9 months.

As per the arrangements, Servitors and their families will have darshan of the deities for 3 days (Dec 23-25).

Residents of Puri will have ward-wise darshan from December 26-31 (schedule attached below).

The Temple will remain closed on January 1 and 2 to prevent any rush. General public darshan will commence from January 3, 2021. A maximum of 5,000 devotees will be allowed inside the temple everyday.

Use of masks and sanitiser will be made mandatory for the devotees. Sanitiser will also be provided at the four entrances of Srimandir. Strict adherence to Covid-19 Guidelines will be ensured.
