TNI Bureau: Bollwyood Actress Priyanka Chopra finally broke her silence and offered help to bring back the body of her assistant Jiban Patra’s dead body to India. Jiban died of a cardiac arrest at a Los Angeles hotel on April 7. As the transportation cost will be around $15,000 (Rs 8 lakh), Priyanka was reportedly not showing any interest to intervene.
After the matter was highlighted in the media, Priyanka extended her complete help and said her team is in touch with the relevant authorities in the US and Jiban’s family members to bring his body to India at the earliest. Jiban had gone to the US along with Priyanka’s team. While Priyanka and others went to Canada, he stayed back in Los Angeles because of visa issues.
Jiban Patra (41) hailed from Barandua village of Basudebpur police station area in Bhadrak district of Odisha. He had got married 10 years ago. Jiban is survived by his wife, a son (5) and a daughter (8). His family is based in Mumbai.
