President Droupadi Murmu to Visit Odisha and Chhattisgarh from February 2 to 7

TNI Bureau: President of India, Droupadi Murmu, will visit Odisha and Chhattisgarh from February 2 to 7, 2026.

She will arrive in Bhubaneswar today evening, February 2. On February 3, the President will attend the convocation ceremony of Fakir Mohan University in Balasore and inaugurate a newly constructed auditorium.

On February 4, she will unveil the statue of Bhanjabir Sunaram Soren and interact with students at the Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School at Mahuldiha in Rairangpur. She will also inaugurate and lay foundation stones for several projects, including the Government Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, OUAT campus, archery centre, urban beautification and drainage upgradation projects, various CSR initiatives, and the MSCB University Information Technology campus in Rairangpur.

On February 6, the President will interact with women and youth from tribal communities at Similipal. She will also attend the ‘Black Swan Summit, India’ in Bhubaneswar, organised by the Odisha government in collaboration with the Global Finance and Technology Network.

On February 7, President Murmu will inaugurate the ‘Bastar Pandum 2026’ festival in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh.
