TNI Bureau: People in Bhubaneswar and other parts of Coastal Odisha heaved a great sigh of relief, as pre-monsoon showers lashed many areas this morning. The sky remains cloudy today, bringing relief from the scorching heat.

Although it was a light shower, the Met Department confirmed that it was pre-monsoon shower. Monsoon may reach Odisha in the next 3-4 days.
Many areas in Coastal Odisha witnessed light rain this morning, while some parts of South Odisha had too got huge rainfall yesterday. The heatwave condition reached its peak in Odisha this year. Monsoon rain will bring more relief to common people.
