Pradeep Majhi, the Lok Sabha MP from Nabarangpur, hit out at the alleged malicious campaign against him and termed the circulated picture as ‘tampered’ and ‘morphed’. Pradeep has lodged an FIR against Mr. Navin Das, Editor of Nirbhay News and Mr. Trideb Rout at the Tughlaq Road Police Station in Delhi.

Earlier, Bajrakila, a Weekly Newspaper had published one picture in which Mr. Majhi (look-alike) was seen with two Thai girls inside the water. Later, Nirbhay also published the pic along with a news story and then promoted it on Facebook.

According to Mr. Majhi, some vested interests are behind this malicious campaign. “They tried to publish the pic on many frontal newspapers. But, when they failed, they took the route of small newspapers to target and malign me ahead of the next Lok Sabha polls, he said.”

Mr. Pradeep Majhi further alleged that his face is superimposed on a muscular body. He blamed a contractor from Nabarangpur, who was his friend, but later turned foe over some financial dispute. He also sees the involvement of some vested politicians in this matter.
