The price of the LPG cylinders was increased by Rs 26.50 to Rs 922 yesterday. As per the government’s directives, every seventh and more LPG cylinder per household in a year will cost more, as it would come without any subsidies.

The unsubsidized LPG cylinder would cost Rs. 922 in Delhi, Rs. 906.50 in Mumbai, Rs. 915.00 in Chennai and Rs. 913 in Kolkata. It is believed that once the assembly polls are over, the oil companies will get the green signal to hike the price.
