In a surprising development, which comes as a huge setback for the Congress, JD(U) and many other “secular” parties in India, Pakistan has shown interest in working with Gujarat CM Narendra Modi, who is also considered as the BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate in 2014.

Modi-GoaPakistan’s High Commissioner to India, Salman Bashir made it clear while talking to a leading English News Channel. He revealed that Pakistan eyes Gujarat to resolve its power crisis.

A few top ministers from Nawaz Sharif’s Cabinet, are all set to visit Gujarat to hold talks with Narendra Modi to buy the surplus power from Gujarat. Earlier, the European Union and many other countries have expressed their desire to work with Narendra Modi.
