Odisha Steps Up Anti-Maoist Drive Under CM Mohan Majhi’s Leadership

TNI Bureau: Under the strong leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, a new chapter has begun in Odisha’s efforts to become a Naxal-free state, the Chief Minister’s Office tweeted. The CMO said security forces have intensified anti-Maoist operations, leading to the elimination of top Maoist leaders in Kandhamal.

The CMO further said the government’s humane rehabilitation policy has encouraged many former extremists to give up violence and join the mainstream, while enhanced allowances and advanced training have strengthened security forces.

These steps reflect the government’s firm commitment to building a peaceful, secure, and completely Maoist-free Odisha, the CMO added.
