TNI Bureau: Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi has approved a 100% increase in rice milling charges to ensure smooth paddy procurement from farmers.

Milling charges for parboiled rice have been raised from Rs 20 to Rs 40 per quintal, while raw rice charges have increased from Rs 10 to Rs 20. The move aims to support the rice millers and strengthen food security.
