Odisha Approves 11 Industrial Projects Involving ₹1,332.80 Crore Investment

TNI Bureau: The Odisha government approved 11 new industrial projects with a combined investment of ₹1,332.80 crore, giving a fresh boost to the state’s industrial growth across multiple sectors.

The proposals were cleared by the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA), chaired by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja. The approved projects cover a wide range of sectors, including food and seafood processing, textiles and apparel, chemicals, green hydrogen and green ammonia, tourism, logistics, and information technology.

According to officials, the projects will be implemented in Angul, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda and Mayurbhanj districts, helping to promote balanced regional development.

Among the major approvals is a 20,000-metric-ton green ammonia plant proposed in Ganjam district with an investment of ₹250 crore. An agrochemical manufacturing unit will be set up in Jagatsinghpur district at a cost of ₹220 crore.

Other key projects include a shrimp processing unit in Khurda district with an investment of ₹200 crore, a copper foil manufacturing unit in Dhenkanal district costing ₹150 crore, and a freight terminal project in Angul district with an investment of ₹159.75 crore.

Officials said the approved projects are expected to strengthen Odisha’s industrial ecosystem, attract further investments, and generate employment opportunities across the state.
