Nitin Nabin holds Core Committee Meeting; offers Prayers at Puri Srimandir

TNI Bureau: BJP National President Nitin Nabin visited the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri on Monday and offered prayers to the holy deities amid a large gathering of devotees and party supporters. Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and the state BJP president were also present during the visit.

Speaking after the darshan, Nitin Nabin said that receiving the blessings of Lord Jagannath was a matter of great fortune for him. He stated that the visit held special significance following the West Bengal elections and expressed hope that Lord Jagannath’s blessings would reach every citizen. Along with Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, he prayed for peace, prosperity and happiness for the people of Odisha.

Earlier, the BJP National President attended a core committee meeting where he discussed five key organisational and governance-related issues with party leaders and workers.

During the meeting, Nitin Nabin stressed the importance of maintaining strong coordination among party leaders and workers, stating that better coordination would further strengthen the organisation.

He also advised leaders to focus on strengthening the party organisation at the grassroots level and emphasised the need to value every party worker while closely monitoring organisational activities.

Further, he directed party leaders to work towards increasing the public acceptance of the government and strengthening its people-friendly image. He also highlighted the importance of ensuring that government welfare schemes effectively reach people at the grassroots level so that citizens receive actual benefits from them.
