Insight Bureau: Shabir Ahmed Mir, a Sarpanch was shot dead in the Audora area in Kulgam district of Kashmir.

According to IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar, Shabir was given accommodation in a secured hotel in Srinagar, but left the hotel for home without informing the police.
