TNI Bureau: In a daring attack, the suspected naxalites fired at an IAF Helicopter in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada, resulting in an emergency landing. One IAF man was injured in the shooting.

The chopper was on a mission to airlift a few injured CRPF troopers when the rebels opened fire. It later landed nearer to the CRPF camp at Teliwara in Sukma district. The CRPF has taken control of the chopper. The Mi-17 Helicopter had taken off from Jagdalpur to Sukma.
