Narendra Modi attacks Congress, calls PM ‘Maun’ Mohan Singh

Date:

TNI Bureau: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi took on Congress calling Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as ‘Maun’ Mohan Singh over the issues. Addressing the crowds in Himachal Pradesh, he said that the PM should have spoken on price rise in a rally at Una instead of attacking the BJP government in the state.

Modi’s comment comes a day after Manmohan Singh on Sunday slammed the Prem Kumar Dhumal-led BJP government of Himachal Pradesh for “bad governance and ignoring the interests of the common man”.

Modi said that the PM should speak on the price rise and the measures taken to control the inflation instead of targeting the BJP in Himachal Pradesh. He said, “Maun Mohan Singh broke his silence only in Himachal Pradesh yesterday”.
