TNI Bureau: The Karnataka Lokayukta has ordered a probe against former Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa, Union Minister of External Affairs SM Krishna and former PM HD Deve Gowda in connection with the Mysore-Bangalore Expressway Nandi Corridor project.

The Lokayukta Court ordered the probe on the basis of a private complaint, which alleged that several rules were breached while acquiring 7,000 acres of land for that project and the farmers were not paid adequate compensation.
The complaint was filed by activist TJ Abraham. The Lokayukta Police will investigate the matter and submit its report to the court.
