TNI Bureau: Congress MP from Nabarangpur, Pradeep Majhi has escaped unhurt in a road mishap in the wee hours today. However, District Congress President Narayana Patro sustained grievous injuries. He is admitted into the Queens NRI Hospital, Vishakhapattnam. Mr. Patro is said to be stable now.
The incident occurred at Bobbili near Parvatipuram in Andhra Pradesh. Mr. Pradeep Majhi and others were returning after attending a wedding function. The Xylo overturned after and fell to a nearby pond when the driver lost balance.
Pradeep did not suffer any injuries in the mishap. While talking to ‘The News Insight’, he offered gratitude to almighty god for this miraculous escape and thanked all his well-wishers who showed concerns for him. Pradeep Majhi is a first-time MP from Odisha’s Nabarangpur Lok Sabha constituency. He also held the post of Odisha Youth Congress President for two years. He is said to be very close to Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi.
