SCB-Medical-CollegeThe journalists sought action against the medical students who abducted and attacked them and misbehaved with a lady attendant of a patient inside the orthopaedic ward of the Hospital two weeks ago. Two TV journalists were allegedly abducted by four PG students on June 15 from the hospital premises and kept them captive for over two hours. It was alleged that more than 15 other students of the medical college tortured the journalists.

Though, a police inspector was present when the journalists were abducted, but he did not take any action. Even he did not register the FIR after they were released from the captive.

The inquiry is on to find out why the police station delayed in filing a case and failed to take action against the students whose names appeared in the FIR.
