The significant acquisition was made by L&T’s wholly-owned subsidiary Tamco Switchgear, which is head-quartered in Malaysia, for an undisclosed amount.

Malaysia’s Henikwon Corporation is a leading manufacturer of low and medium busduct systems, which are cost effective means of providing power replacing the conventional cabling system.

The acquisition by L&T would bring benefits for Tamco, which is a part of L&T’s electrical and automation (E&A) business.
