LG to launch Optimus Vu in September

TNI Bureau: LG will launch its latest phablet, the 5-inch Optimus Vu, in coming September this year – announced on Monday. It will be a global launch including Asia, Latin America, Middle East, Africa and Europe.

The LG Vu was first unveiled at the MWC in February, earlier this year. It sports a 5-inch display with a 4:3 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1024×768 pixels, an Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of memory, an 8-megapixel camera and a 1.3 megapixel-front facing camera. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Again, LG has added some note taking applications like Quick Memo and Notebook to utilize the large display of the device.

Optimus Vu is a hybrid Smartphones /tablet, so it can be called a ‘phablet’.
