On the inaugural day of the programme, six patients received free consultations from Dr. Chira Ranjan Khadanga, Head Consultant in the Department of Radiation Oncology at SUM Ultimate Medicare.

According to the Foundation, the free OPD consultation service will now be organised regularly every Thursday to ensure continued support for patients undergoing cancer treatment and recovery.

The initiative has been launched with the objective of offering expert medical consultation at different stages of cancer treatment, supporting patients and caregivers with post-treatment care and recovery management, and providing emotional and motivational support to patients and their family members. The Foundation also aims to assist economically challenged patients with access to essential medicines and healthcare-related guidance.

The Foundation stated that it remains committed to spreading cancer awareness and ensuring quality healthcare services reach every patient in need. It expressed hope that the initiative would become an important support system for cancer patients and their families by helping them receive timely consultation and proper medical guidance closer to home.
