TNI Bureau: Indian bowlers struck hard this morning to restrict England at 523 in the first innings. Resuming from the overnight score of 509/6, England could add just 14 runs to the total.

Matt Prior made 41, while Swann scored 21. Ashwin took four wickets. Pragyan Ojha took three wickets. India had scored 316 runs in the first innings. So, England took a lead of 207 in the first innings.

In the second innings, India were 86/0 at Lunch. Sehwag was batting on 49, while Gambhir was on 33.
