TNI Bureau: Despite the debacle at Wankhede, Mumbai yesterday, Skipper MS Dhoni chose not to make any changes to the team and go with three spinners, including Harbhajan Singh for the third test match in Kolkata.
Giving a thumbs up to Dhoni’s demands, the Indian selectors retained the same team that was battered and humiliated in Mumbai, but called Ashok Dinda to replace injured Umesh Yadav.
Dhoni has also sought a similar pitch like Mumbai in Kolkata, saying it would be a challenge to win on a wicket that takes turn from the very ball bowled. India and England are levelled at 1-1 in the four-match series.
