TNI Bureau: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has strongly condemned the brutal assault on a pastor in Odisha, calling it a reflection of growing violence and hatred in the country. In a social media post, Vijayan said forcing a person to eat cow dung was a deeply inhuman act and accused BJP-led governments of silence and complicity.
Referring to the 27th anniversary of the murder of missionary Graham Staines and his two sons, the Chief Minister said the same forces of intolerance continue to act with impunity. He warned that India’s secular fabric is under attack and called for firm resistance against communal politics that threaten constitutional democracy.
