Resuming from the overnight score of 30/2, Odisha 105/5 at one stage. However, Biplab Samantray and Subhrajit Sahoo added 100 runs for the sixth wicket to help Odisha make a comeback in the match. They finally bowled out for 255. Biplab scored 86, while Subhrajit made 48. Alok Sahoo (37) and Lagnajit (20*) were the other contributors.
Vinay Kumar took seven wickets, while Santhebennur Akshay took two wickets. Chasing a victory target of 245, Karnataka ended at 43/1 at the close of play. Odisha had scored 202 in the first innings, while Karnataka made 213.
