Amidst the turmoil within the BCCI over the arrest of CSK CEO Gurunath Meiyappan and demands for resignation of his father-in-law and BCCI chief N Srinivasan, the controversial IPL 6 is going for a close today, as Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians are heading for the final showdown.
The most consistent in the IPL history, the Chennai Super Kings have entered the final for the fifth time in six seasons. The won the title twice and this is their fourth straight appearance in the final. Mumbai Indians have never won the title, but entered the final for the second time. They have never won this tournament.
