India ready to host Pakistan for an ODI Series

TNI Bureau: After a long gap of five years, the cricketing ties between India and Pakistan will resume, much to the delight of the cricket lovers in both countries. The BCCI has taken a step forward to host Pakistan for a three-match ODI series in December.

The cricket relations between two countries were snapped after the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks in 2008. India had pulled out of the 2009 cricket tour of Pakistan following the terror attacks.

Both countries played against each other in the 2011 World Cup (Mohali) and Asia Cup (Mirpur). India emerged victorious on both occasions.

The ODI matches will be held in Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai. Both teams will also play two T20 matches, which will be played in Bangalore and Ahmedabad. It is believed that the Indo-Pak matches will be held between December 22 and January 3.

England will come to India in November to play four Tests, five ODIs and two Twenty20s. They will go back on December 22 for the Christmas Hoslidays after the Test series and will return for the remaining series on January 3.
