1. On the auspicious occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Swachh Bharat Campaign’ at Delhi’s Valmiki Basti. Modi swept the area with a broom and inspired the nation to do the cleaning act. He later the Mandir Marg Police Station, swept the area and then picked up the gargbage by hands.

2. US President Barack Obama expressed full satisfaction at his historic meeting with Prime Minister Narendr Modi, saying it reflected the depth of strong relationship between the US and India.

3. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ordered Aadhaar cards for all by June 2015. Currently, only 68 crore people in India have Aadhaar cards and 50 crore more are yet to receive those.

4. PM invites prominent citizens such as Sachin Tendulkar, Salman Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, Kamal Hassan, Shashi Tharoor, Baba Ramdev, Priyanka Chopra, Anil Ambani etc. to take part in the ‘Swachh Bharat Campaign’.
