Imran Khan harassed by US Officials in Toronto

TNI Bureau: Pakistani cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan was pulled off a flight to New York at Toronto International airport in Canada after he criticised US drone attacks in Pakistan’s Waziristan region. He was interrogated by the US officials over his point of view on US drone attacks on Talibans.

Khan, who is the founder of Pakistan‘s Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, had protested the US drone strikes in his homeland.

Later, Khan tweeted about his interrogation, “I was taken off from plane and interrogated by U.S. Immigration in Canada on my views on drones. My stance is known. Drone attacks must stop”.

However, further reports were not revealed by the US officials.
