narendra_modiIn an interview to international news agency Reuters, Modi claimed that he was innocent in the communal riots in which thousands were killed and their houses were burnt. “I would feel guilty only if I did something wrong. While driving a vehicle if a puppy comes under the wheel, will it be painful or not? Of course it is…I’m a human being. If something bad happens anywhere, it is natural to be sad,” he said.

Congress said that the latest remark is the reflection of Modi’s perverse mindset. The CPM also slammed Modi for justifying the Gujarat riots in 2002, saying it was shameful that the leader did not express regrets for it.

Modi, who believes in inclusive development, identified hismelf as a Hindu Nationalist. In an interview, he said that he was a donpato Hindu and he was a patriotic and nothing was wrong in it.

Such things before 2014 elections may put Modi in big trouble. However, he defended his comments and took to Twitter. He said, “In our culture every form of life is valued & worshipped. My original interview with Reuters http://nm4.in/138jss0…People are best judge.”
