TNI Bureau: 34 tribals, including 27 women, were put in jail by the police following a face-off between the tribals and cops during a road blockade in Bahalda over molestation of a minor tribal girl. Massive protests and intervention of the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) on BJD’s request, forced the Administration to bend and the arrested people were released from jail.
