The girls have outperformed boys once again in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class XII exam this year. The results were declared today. While the pass percentage for girls was 87 per cent, 77% boys cleared the exam.

The total pass percentage is 82 per cent this year. Chennai zone beat others in the overall pass percentage as 91 per cent of students have cleared the exam. Over nine lakh students had appeared for the exam this year.
