Former Odisha Minister Bhagirathi Gamang dies at 83

TNI Bureau: Former Odisha Minister and veteran Congress leader Bhagirathi Gamang died at the age of 83. He suffering from several ailments for the last few years. Shri Gamang breathed his last in Bhubaneswar yesterday. He represented the Gunupur assembly segment.

Bhagirathi Gamang is survived by his wife and nephew Giridhar Gamang, the former Chief Minister of Odisha. Bhagirathi Gamang was elected to Odisha Assembly six times from 1971-1990. He had also won from Koraput Lok Sabha seat in 1966.
