Police claimed to have busted a fake certificate racket in Malkangiri with the arrest of seven people. Two were arrested during a raid at a DTP centre in Antapur in Soro area of Balasore district and five were caught from Malkangiri.

Seven were involved in selling fake Matric and +2 certificates for Rs 10,000 and Rs 25,000 since 2007.
Police have kept vigil on other people in these districts suspecting their involvement in the racket.
