TNI Bureau: A unique literary and musical event was held at Utkal Mandap in Bhubaneswar, where senior politician and MLA Dr Arun Kumar Sahoo released his book Peeda and music album Shitua Sandhya.
The programme was attended by noted educationist and literary scholar Manoranjan Sahu and renowned Chhau dance guru Padma Shri Dr Utsav Charan Das as guests. The event stood out for its strict time discipline, beginning at 6.18 pm and concluding at 7.38 pm, drawing appreciation from the intellectual community.
Dr Sahoo’s book Peeda presents the lives of the poor, helpless and marginalized in a sensitive and humanistic manner, rising above hatred, jealousy and negativity. Following the success of his earlier musical work Behal Barsha, Shitua Sandhya features music composed by young music director Japani and vocals by emerging singer Chiragdeep.
The event witnessed a gathering of over 2,000 people and concluded successfully, earning widespread appreciation for Dr Sahu. The programme was anchored by Anshuman Jena, with support from others.
